Although more oriented toward the Advent and AR restorations, you might contact Carl's Custom Loudspeakers for grill cloth. He has some really nice vintage looking nubby linen grill cloth that looks very period for 50's and 60's home loudspeakers. He prefers to send a free sample for review rather than rely on web pictures but will send samples quickly.

An original supplier of grill cloth for Altec was New Castle fabrics of Brooklyn,NY they spun off a subsidiary or branched off for their grill cloth fabrics which is now called Acoustone Grill Cloth Fabric.
Try the B200 stretch !It looks like the brown for my 19's which I think is the same for your 620/604 cabs.When you click on the swatches link after it opens go the bottom and then click "Back" the B200 swatch should come up.
